Does each individual who is getting married need their own workbook or can the engaged couple share one?

Each person will need his/her own I Promise workbook. There are questions and activities throughout the workbook that each individual is required to complete on their own before discussing them later as a couple.  Each workbook also includes a code that will be used to register and take online relationship and personality assessments.

Is there a different workbook for the class facilitator, mentor couple, counselor or pastor who will be taking the pre-marital couple through the I Promise experience?
There is not a separate facilitator workbook.  Facilitators will use their workbook code to register on the I Promise website just like the pre-marital couple.  They will simply select "facilitator" instead of bride or groom during the registration process.  This will grant them access to the facilitator page, which provides tools, tips and suggestions for using I Promise in both group and individual couple settings.  Facilitators will be equipped with everything they need to take couples through the I Promise experience.

Are there discounts for ordering I Promise workbooks in greater quantities?
Yes.  You will receive a 5% discount for ordering 2-10 books and a 10% discount for 11 or more books

How many sessions does it take to complete I Promise?
We recommend you complete I Promise in 7 sessions. One session on the Introduction and one session each on the 6 chapters of I Promise.  We encourage you to spend a session on the Introduction because it helps establish a foundation for understanding the rest of the material moving forward.

Do couples complete the workbook together?
Each I Promise chapter has material that needs to be completed individually as well as exercise that need to be done as a couple.  The end of each chapter has a section called “Honest Talk” which is where we suggest the couple spend 1 – 1 ½ hours together discussing the questions and material included.

Can I Promise be used in a class setting with multiple engaged couples?
Yes, I Promise was designed for use in a group setting or with an individual couple meeting with their pastor, counselor or mentor couple.

How does a facilitator get access to the results of their couple’s relationship and personality assessments?
Once the facilitator is registered online (ipromise.marriagementors.com), they will simply give the couples their registration code found on the inside cover of the I Promise workbook.  Couples are able to click on the “add facilitator” button on the bottom of their couple page (once they have registered) and enter their facilitator’s code.  Once the engaged couple has added the facilitator, the facilitator will have access to all their information and assessment results simply by selecting that couple from their facilitator page on the I Promise website.  Facilitators are able to connect with as many couples as they like and have the ability to remove couples when they have finished the I Promise experience with the couple.

How do individuals connect with their spouse online?
Once an individual has registered using their registration code (found on the inside cover of their I Promise workbook), they will see the option to “connect to my future wife” or “connect to my future husband” on their Relationship page.  This will lead them to a page where they can enter their future spouse’s registration code (they must get this code from their future spouse) and connect with them.  This process can also be done later from the couple page after they have completed their profile info and assessments.
